ÖKO-TEC introduces itself

Umweltschutzsysteme GmbH

Öko-Tec Umweltschutzsysteme GmbH, located in Hessen, was established in 1988 having the vision to protect people, the environment as well as assets.



Research

As a result of intensive research, Öko-Tec Umweltschutzsysteme GmbH developed an oil- and chemicalbinder, called Uni-Safe, which has gained world-wide appreciation in damage control and containment up to this very day and has become an essential part in present chemistry.



Development

Further developments like the double-tube boom used as flood-protection and extinguishing water pondage, as well as protection against oil and other chemical substances in calm and running water and the first steps to create a high-power extinguishing agent, named Hydrex, followed.

Generational

In the year 2003, a generational change was already emerging, which was finally completed in the year 2004. In the context of these events practically all products developed by then in the Öko-Tec were rigorously placed on the touchstone in terms of function, user-friendliness and safety and, for example, completely re-developed or revised. Due to a change in management, there was room for new ideas, e.g. the “flood protection” product area was added to the Öko-Tec spectrum.

Öko-Tec

Today, Öko-Tec has a small, motivated team that is able to react flexibly and quickly to the needs of the market. Especially in recent years, public attention has risen sharply in terms of environmental protection. Well-known companies in the chemical industry and fire brigades belong to the solid customer base of Öko-Tec, which operates nationally and internationally.


